It uses inkjet technology to print directly onto materials like vinyl, canvas, photo paper, and rigid boards, making it ideal for short runs, custom sizes, and oversized projects. In contrast, offset printing is best for high volume, small format items such as brochures, postcards, booklets, and business cards.

Can I print just a few copies, or do I need to order in bulk?

One of the main advantages of wide format printing is the ability to print exactly the quantity you need, whether it’s a single copy or a small batch. There’s no minimum order requirement, making it ideal for test runs or limited-edition projects.

What are the file formats you accept?

When preparing files for wide format printing, choosing the right format ensures your project prints accurately and with the highest quality.

The most preferred file type is PDF, as it supports embedded fonts, CMYK color profiles, crop marks, bleed, and high-resolution images. For optimal print results, please provide high resolution files at 300 dpi and sized according to your order size. This is important due to the larger print size. If the files are built with illustrations, please provide files in vector format as they can be enlarged to any size without losing resolution.

Do I need to provide a cut file with my print file?

Generally, you don’t need to provide a cut file, we can create it for you. However, for more complex shapes, it’s helpful to show us exactly where the cuts should be to avoid any miscommunication. We’ll always send a proof before cutting, although providing clear information up front helps ensure accuracy, speeds up the process, and keeps design time, and therefore your cost, as low as possible.
